Bulgaria is located on the Balkan Peninsula of South East Europe. It is bound by Romania to the north, Macedonia and Serbia and Montenegro (Serbia Rep.) to the west, Turkey to the southeast, Greece to the south and the Black Sea to the east.

With 230 miles of Black Sea Coastline, it offers some of the most beautiful beaches in Europe.  With the fantastic mountain resorts, Bulgaria is fast developing as a popular alternative to the existing established ski resorts in other parts of Europe. And not forgetting the cultural history, Bulgaria has it all.

Bulgaria is due to join the EU next year which will further enhance the tourism industry, but already there has been an increase in available cheap flights from the rest of Europe.
